How to install a car 112 floors up.
You may have watched Ford’s Mustang event at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai last week, where the company showed off its newest pony car on the 112th floor.
But just how the heck did they get the car up there in the first place? A really big lift? A helicopter? A large catapult?
Nope – they did it the old fashioned way. A team of Ford engineers worked through the night to bring a bright yellow Mustang convertible up piece by piece, before reassembling it. Here’s a great time-lapse video showing how they did it. We particularly like how most of the team at some point gets distracted by the view over Dubai.
