Hublot presents the Classic Fusion Tour Auto, a tribute to the classic historic rally.
[Not a valid template]This year’s Tour Auto (the 22nd running of the historic rally) brought forth the best, the brightest, the most impeccably prepared and the most ruinously expensive classic models from the likes of BMW, Lancia, Ferrari and Maserati to name but a few. Amidst the crowd though there was one new debutant.
Hublot, respected horologists and official partners with Ferrari’s Formula 1 outfit, is further strengthening its links in the classic car world. After partnering the 50th anniversary of the Ferrari 250 GTO in 2012 (as well celebrating a Tribute to Ferrari at the Mille Miglia), this year the company debuted the new limited edition Classic Fusion Tour Auto watch.
Made from titanium, the lightweight timepiece utilises a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement with date comprising 280 components including 59 jewels, and oscillating at frequency of 28,600 vibrations per hour. Do let us know in the comments box below if you know what any of that means.
What we can tell you though that only 100 examples of the Tour Auto will be produced, each of which is up for grabs for a staggering $13,950.
