Myself and James Lipman where lucky enough to be part of the 2010MY Jaguar XKR and all new Jaguar XFR launch recently hosted in Fujeirah and at the Dubai Autodrome. We had an amazing day out in the UAE wilderness shooting the XKR and the XKR and then spent a day at the Autodrome shooting some action shots.

I think the word that describes this picture is “Epic”. We had left the hotel that morning in the pouring rain thinking the day was going to be a wash out. However by the time we had faffed about and looked around for some great scenery the sun was shining (enough for me to get really burnt!!) as it likes to do in Dubai.

This little spot was an absolute find…after trawling along one of the most awesome roads in the region we noticed a little cut off from the main road that lead up to a ledge…once set-up Paul did the honours of driving past us repeatedly until we nailed the shot. Sweaty stuff…err I mean glamorous of course!

Next up was some sexy tracking shots of the XFR. Not enough can ever be said about how superb this car is. The ultimate Q car…

As the day was running away from us we decided to head down to Kalba to shoot the 2010MY XKR on the waters edge in the mangroves..I had the thought that this little spot would work out and rather gladly as the sun dropped out of the sky the picture just came together. What better than one of the most beautiful sports cars in the world in a fabulous setting?

Next on the list of items to tick off was a shoot at the Dubai Autodrome. The event took the press and delegates to the track at the end of the day for dynamic activities and some hot laps at the hands of local pro-drivers.

James Burnett from the Autodrome was responsible for running the drive aspect of the event. We also managed to persuade him to show off some of skills and put the XFR through it’s pace’s.

As is highlighted by this pic…Thanks to some all new super tech the XFR now has the ability to act the hooligan. Jaguar has been needing this for many years and gladly it’s come at just the right time. The E-Diff and adaptive damping fitted to the car work harmoniously to allow some superb driving dynamics.

A local Jaguar enthusiast (Steve Exelby) rocked up in this stunning concours condition Jaguar E-Type. Believe me when I say that it was as clean underneath as on top.

Last but no means least…a picture that speaks a thousand words. The noise and smell where fantastic. The most humourous bit was after James had come to a stop we had a crowd of builders on the building site behind cheering and clapping as the sounds echoed back at us.
