Hot off the news that the F-Type will join the Jaguar range in the not too distant future, we had a scout around the Google playground to scope some cheeky teaser images. We didn’t expect to stumble across this.
Some of you might be familiar with the graffiti Aston and BMW we showcased a few weeks ago. Well this is Mr Kaves, and this is his offering to the pass: a graffiti-d XKR unveiled in New York.
In addition to his painting the XKR, Mr Kaves, a graffiti artist since the age of ten, used his talents to produce a series of works for Jaguar celebrating its sporting bloodline of C-, D- and E-type, each being represented on a canvas displayed on the walls of New York’s STK restaurant.
Asked about his work with Jaguar, Mr Kaves said: “I was enlisted to come up with something exciting and spontaneous. I went back to my roots and picked up the spray cans. Seeing the car itself and its great lines, it just inspired me.”
It’s inspired us to, and suddenly our creative juices are flowing. Can you imagine a crankandpiston-ed sportscar? Any manufacturers reading this might want to take note… >>>
