Gianfranco Giovine is an Italian with a penchant for classic cars. You might think that in Italy he’d be spoiled for choice, but the car that caught his eye wasn’t Italian, it was British. The Jensen 541. Released in 1954, there aren’t too many of them around, but for the owners they’re one of the great British sports cars of the age.
Gianfranco managed to track a Jensen 541 down to Ireland and had it shipped to Italy via England, where he now has to cope with driving a right-hand drive classic on the narrow Italian roads. But judging by the way he speaks about his car, he wouldn’t change a thing.
