Kia has added a premium JBL audio system to its new Sportage model.
Kia Motors has, in partnership with HARMAN International Industries, added JBL Signature Sound to its 2016 Sportage model.
The compact SUV, coming this year, includes the premium sound system as an option, which also includes Clari-Fi; a patented HARMAN technology that restores musical depth and authenticity to compressed digital sources.
Vice president of marketing at Kia Motors Europe Artur Martins said, “Every audiophile world-wide knows the JBL Signature Sound and we are proud that now drivers will be able to experience this auditory excellence in our all-new 2016 Kia Sportage.”
To add to the listening experience, the JBL system includes eight strategically placed speakers, optimised and tuned for the Sportage cabin and powered by a 320 watt amplifier – which is twice as many watts as the standard system.
