crankandpiston.com presents the Koenigsegg One:1 like you’ve only partly seen before…
This, ladies and gentlemen, is the brand new Koenigsegg One:1, which will make its debut at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Maybe.
We say ‘maybe’, since this is our interpretation of the Scandinavian manufacturer’s most batshit supercar yet, based purely on the teaser video that has just been released. Take a couple of subtle lighting techniques outlining the overall shape, add some time-consuming stitching of one screenshot with another, and voila!
Details so far are a little sketchy, the Koenigs-etc declaring only that the One:1 meets the following description: “What if we were to produce something that is clearly above the hyper car category… what would you call that class?” In a word, ‘terrifying’, particularly when you consider that the new 1340kg model produces 1340bhp, or a One:1 power-to-weight ratio. Though it’s not been confirmed, said power is likely to come from the twin-turbocharged 5.0-litre V8 currently lodged in the already established 1115bhp Agera R.
Looks like the 435.31kph Hennessey Venom GT, the world’s fastest two seater sportscar, might have some opposition after all.
