The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento concept car made many a jaw drop to the floor when it debuted at this year’s Paris Motor Show. To be honest at the time we were a little bit blown away ourselves as we hawked around it soaking in every detail from the amazing carbon details to the frankly incredible target weight and power to weight projections. At the time it was being pitched as a pure concept vehicle and a tool to highlight the direction and capability of the teams within Sant’Agata. But now the rumour mill is suggesting that the powers that be are going to give a production run a shot.

Now, as with the last super special to drop out of Lamborghini, we are not talking big production run numbers here. As it stands there are suggestions of up to ten units and the rumour mill suggests that the company already has five firm orders on the books. Pretty standard stuff in the world of uber cars and the requirement of certain demographic of client wanting that something extra in their collection.

Yes the Sesto Elemento certainly has something special about it and yes it will be more than likely be the prize of the super rich, but we are going to stand by and hope that the all-new Gallardo will offer pretty similar looks and performance.

Until then, we sincerely hope that they push the button and some lucky people out there get the dream that they are clearly wanting.
