Underneath the murk, this is an all-new city car from Lexus.
Lexus will unveil a new concept city car call the LF-SA at next month’s Geneva Motor Show, and to whet our appetites it’s released this teaser image.
The shot appears to show a revised approach to Lexus’ “spindle” grille, which could filter down to other models. This one, however, is likely to target customers of the MINI and Audi A1 – those wanting a small city hatchback with a premium feel. It’s a potentially lucrative sector to be involved with, but taking on MINI at its own game isn’t going to be easy, so it’ll be intriguing to see what Lexus brings to the party.
The company describes the LF-SA as “a luxurious, driver-focused vehicle, designed to address a future world that is more influenced by technology and virtual experiences”.
No more actual information has yet been released about the LF-SA, but it’s due to be unveiled at the show on March 3.
