The Emirates Classic Car Festival is an unmissable opportunity to clap your peepers on some extremely rare and desirable pieces of automotive history. Every year, exactly eleventy million people descend on Mohammad Bin Rashid Boulevard to check out the awesome jalopies on show.
crankandpiston decided to beat the masses, get out of bed at stupid o’clock and make our way to Downtown Dubai, thus avoiding the need to fight our way through the throng. With caffeine levels within acceptable parameters and Canon locked and loaded it was time to hit the Boulevard.
Arriving just before sunrise, the area was almost completely abandoned apart from security personnel and rather a lot of tasty classic cars lining both sides of the Boulevard. From classic American muscle cars and pickup trucks to military vehicles and Italian exotica, there was a little bit of something for everyone.
