Following in the footsteps of the Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo, Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV Evolution Vision Gran Turismo and the Volkswagen GTI Roadster Concept, Aston Martin has unveiled the design study at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. Hold onto your enthusiasm though, since this will remain a ‘virtual-only’ concept.
Oh, there was also the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo and the Toyota FT-1.
Gran Turismo 6 players though can rejoice, for the 800bhp twin-turbo V12 will be available for download. The DP-100 Vision Gran Turismo – which took six months for the Aston Martin design team to develop from the ground up – joins the uber exclusive One-77 in GT6’s line-up.
So, virtual, no reality. Don’t be astonished if ‘a one-off edition’ comes along with just the right price tag though…
