The new Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV Evolution Vision Gran Turismo arrives on Gran Turismo 6.
[Not a valid template]It’s been quite some time since a Mitsubishi caused quite this much excitement at the crankandpiston oval office (the last being Michael Heywood’s totally batshit Evo X), and with good reason. Snapping at the heels of the recently released images of Volkswagen’s GTI Roadster Concept, Mitsubishi will be represented in Sony’s GT6 by the new Concept XR-PHEV Evolution Vision Gran Turismo.
Surprise surprise, the XR-PHEV, if the name and futuristic styling didn’t give the game away too much. Peel back the carbon fiber reinforced plastic body and look past the 20-inch aluminium wheels, and you’ll find an eight-speed dual clutch transmission and a S-AWC vehicle dynamics control system (read four-wheel drive).
