British sports car manufacturer confirms Al Futtaim showroom to open in Dubai next month.
Lotus has confirmed that an official showroom will be opening in Dubai at the end of October.
The British sports car manufacturer already has a presence in Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon, but until now has not had a presence in what many (well, we) consider the home of sports cars in the Middle East. Al Futtaim – which already distributes the likes of Toyota, Honda, Jeep, Chrysler and Volvo in the region – has been appointed the official dealer and plans to open a Lotus showroom in Dubai Festival City by the end of October under its Trading Enterprises banner.
To start with, UAE customers can choose between the Lotus Evora or the Evora S, both rivals to the likes of the Porsche Cayman range. Further expansion is planned in the UAE after the Dubai showroom. Which is excellent news.
