The first race got underway just after lunch on Saturday and was another nail biting 30-minutes of non-stop action. Patrick Zamparini lead early on in the race after getting the jump over Joe Ghanem, however Joe Ghanem battled hard to regain his position and passed Zamparini with just 5-minutes left on the clock. Saadon Al Kuwari took the 3^rd step on the podium.

The second qualifying session took place on Saturday morning with the young Lebanese driver once again posting the fastest time of 2:08.244 and securing another pole position to add to his tally. Sitting alongside him on the front of the grid was Qatar’s Saadon Al Kuwari who posted a best lap of 2:10.014.

But there was drama in the final moments of the race as Mohammed Jawa found himself pointing the wrong way into the pit entrance after suffering a major spin – he had been running in a strong 8^th position prior.
