Have had a bit of exotic streak recently, few weeks back I got to shoot an Aston Martin, just last week I got to shoot a Porsche 996 Turbo for a friend of mine who was putting it on the market for sale.

Just on a nice warm night last week we arranged to do the shoot. It had to be late in the day due to time constraints, so we met around 6pm and headed straight to one my spots in Docklands that I use.
It was interesting to note that the Porsche had a decent storage space under the bonnet, it fitted my rolling camera bag in their perfectly.

Once on location I had to work fast as we were losing light fast, I quickly set up a couple of quick shots using available light,

Once the light was gone and the city lights starting coming on, I then switched to work with my flash units to light the car and balancing for the city lights in the background.
As I was on a time limit this was about all I had time to shoot but I had bracketed a range of exposure so I then reworked these into a few HDR images.
Hopefully heading out to shoot a Ferrari California tomorrow. I’ll report back and let you know how it goes.
