Mercedes-AMG reveals three sound files for its new GT.
Having revealed the cabin of its new Porsche 911 bater and teased the looks on the outside, Mercedes has now thrown yet more bait into the automotive millpond with three videos showcasing what the new AMG GT will sound like. And yes, from start-up and idle, through to low revs and on towards the redline, the Mercedes V8 – rumoured to be 475bhp 4.0-litre twin turbo – does indeed sound the Germanic nuts.
So, we’ve heard what the SLS successor sounds like. We’ve seen what it looks like inside. Only one thing missing, and for that we’ll have to wait for the official unveil at the Paris Motor Show. Start counting the days…
