If HKS haven’t got it right by now, then nobody has. HKS custom 2.3 litre stroker kit, camshafts. 1000cc fuel injector and 3240 Turbo with manifold are just a few of the tasty upgrades courtesy of the boys from the foot of Mount Fuji.

Motaz’s fetish for HKS products continues in the cooling system with HKS intercooler, oil cooler and power steering cooler keeping things cooler than Kool & the Gang playing Jungle Boogie. Electronic control gizmos are also HKS items, however, the fuel system has been hit with a full Aeromotive package including fuel pump, in-line and return filters, pump wiring harness, vibration damper, pressure gauge and regulator.

The spec list on this Evo is as long as Stretch Armstrong’s arm at full stretch, however, Motaz and the team at Parc Fermé Workshop are now entering the final stages of the build. There is no denying that Motaz’s meticulous attention to detail, in pursuit of Evo perfection, has lengthened the build process but this is simply his modus operandi.

Parc Fermé Workshop have established a loyal client base in a relatively short time and it is easy to see why. Rarely have I seen what is ostensibly a track day/time attack car built with such a commitment to perfection both in aesthetics and performance. The Catch-22 scenario is that this perfectionist attitude is what attracts more clients, keeping Motaz busy and delaying the Evo build. When reckoning time comes, and the Evo finally takes to track, you can be sure that crankandpiston will be there.
