Now this odd little clip found lurking on the internet by the guys at 0-60 is an intriguing watch. First up it shows the new kid on the block going heads-up with its on paper competition. And secondly it shows the new boy soundly whipping the old hands.

So, someone has already managed to get the MP4-12C to face off against a Ferrari 458 Italia and a Porsche 911 Turbo!? Press!? Unlikely at this early stage. But then it clicked…it has to be McLaren themselves being a little tongue in cheek. The clip is clearly shot at Portimão where the McLaren crew have been washing the global media with MP4 soap so they clearly bagged a couple of customer cars (explains the 458) and decided on a show down!

Word of warning…nothing much happens for the first 40 seconds.
