We had a long and drawn out debate in the office the other evening. It might be worth adding that at the time, we happened to be all letching over a stunningly attractive Lamborghini Aventador. It is such a shame that pictures really don’t seem to do the car any justice, as in the flesh it is utterly awe inspiring.
However we digress… after going and back and forth bench racing, one of the team proudly stated that we could take the Aventador, as the Murciélago SV sat facing us was far cooler, less chince and simply put… more Lamborghini.
Controversial or inspired? What would you take?

Saw the Aventador at the Toronto Auto Show. Was hoping that seeing it in person would help to quell any concerns I had about its design, but all it did was confirm them. The Gallardo next to it (which imo is one of the sexiest cars of all time) didn’t help either, The design just doesn’t have that trademark smoothness that Lamborghini is known for.
I’ll get over it, I guess.

I have actually seen both of these exact cars in real life. The photographer Jordan Sharaki is the photographer for Lamborghini of Las Vegas. I saw the SV on the freeway one day on my way home and I just recently saw the Aventador at Barret Jackson Las Vegas the other week. After seeing both I would take the Aventador. Seeing it in a photo is nothing compared to witnessing it in real life!

When it comes to seeing with your own eyes…we totally agree with you.

Of course that aventador screams “I have a carbon fibre monocoque” and “I’m mechanically more developed than the SV”, but honestly when you remember seeing the SV for the first time, that’s when youll know the answer
