Arabic supercar manufacturers W Motors has unveiled a brand new edition to its line-up in the shape of the 900bhp Fenyr. The fire-breathing two-seater makes its global debut at the 2015 Dubai International Motor Show.
Focusing ‘purely on performance, power and speed’ (as you would expect), the Fenyr is made entirely of carbon fibre and built atop a tubular light-weight aluminium chassis. The limited edition model is powered by a mid-rear mounted 4-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder supplied by RUF, mated to a seven-speed double clutch gearbox. Couple that with a frankly staggering 1200Nm (885lb ft) of torque figure, the Fenyr will hit 0-100kph in 2.7 seconds – two tenths faster than the Noble M600 – and a top speed in excess of 400kph. So, quick, basically…
Only 25 examples of the Fenyr will be produced every year, replicating the 25 units produced of the Lykan HyperSport which made its debut at the same event two years ago. And nope, we’ve not found out the reason behind the ‘Fenyr’ name yet, although we are wondering if this has got anything to do with werewolves too…
