The world has been waiting patiently for Porsche to drop their much vaunted replacement to the stunning Porsche Carrera GT, ever since the project was mooted. Hybrid power, a stunningly capable V8 high horspower power plant adding to the drama, and clothes designed by a recently invigorated Porsche Design department.

Thankfully, it looks like it will be a goer too. The challenge will be containing that girth… with an estimated 1700kgs to haul around, it won’t be the usual spritely affair.
