Rewind to December ’13. Bentley, after ten years away, makes its much-publicised return to motorsport at the 2013 Gulf 12 Hours. A solid – and emotional – debut for the Bentley Continental GT3 saw the team net a well-deserved fourth place overall after half a day of racing.
Six months later, the crankandpiston.com team finds itself at the Yas Marina Circuit once again, symbolically (nay foolishly) at dawn. Today the team marks the return of Bentley to motorsport in its own inimitable way. Today, we are going to take Bentley’s road going embodiment of the GT3 – the brand new Continental GT V8 S – for an epic drive across the UAE.
