“I’m sure when the race starts my heart rate is going to go up! But I’m ready. I’ve been watching this race for a few years and my plan when I started racing was to do endurance. This is my first endurance race. My longest race before this was 1h 50m, so today’s going to be something else. But I can’t wait to start!
“The Lamborghini is much easier to drive than I thought and has got crazy speed. In the corners, the other GT3 cars tend to be faster, but on the straights I’ve been pulling away from everyone.

“I’ve have had a lot of experience with the Ferrari 458, and we know the car is good over a long distance. I really want to do well in this race. Last year we retired, so I really want to make amends for that.
“Our plan is to go as we go and then see where we are in the last six hours. All you can do in a 24hrs race, as a team, is assemble the parts and with Dragon Racing we’ve done that. Then it’s just a case of putting yourself in the position to challenge for victory. “
