Four badass and utterly mental hypercars – LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1 and Pagani Huayra – hit the track in the latest instalment from Krispy Media.
Not since Hyper5 have we seen such an impressively fast and lunatically expensive collection of performance machines on-track together. And this comes to crankandpiston.com viewers courtesy of Krispy Media.
The first badass is LaFerrari, the hybrid powertrain of which combines a 789bhp 6.3-litre V12 and a 161bhp electric motor driving the rear axle for a combined total of 950bhp, 715lb ft of torque, and 0-100kph in 2.9 seconds en-route to a 350kph+ top speed. The Pagani Huayra meanwhile produces a toe-curling 720bhp and 737lb ft from its 6-litre twin-turbo V12, enough to be pipped by LaFerrari to 100kph by 0.4 seconds. The Porsche 918 Spyder and McLaren P1 round out the big four, the hybrid powertrains kick out 887bhp and 903bhp respectively, the sprint to 100kph done and well-dusted in 2.5 and 2.8 seconds.
Throw all that together and you have the makings of a truly legendary drag race. Unfortunately this promotional video for Miller Motorsport doesn’t include too much of that, although the 2min video does highlight plenty of on-track action and those epic soundtracks.
