Polish car maker Arrinera has officially launched the Hussarya GT model to compete in the GT4 racing series.
The first ever Polish GT-Class Racer the Arrinera Hussarya has been shown at the Autosport show, held in Birmingham this weekend.
The model weighs in at 1,250kg and gets a mid-mounted 6.2-litre V8 lump, pushing out 641bhp and 597lb ft of torque (depending on its state of tune), mated to a sequential six-speed gearbox.
The rear-wheel drive car is set to race in the GT4 racing series throughout this year and 2017, making it the first car from Poland to enter in the class.
The exterior has been developed alongside Warsaw Technical University to make it as aerodynamic as possible. The racer’s body is made from aluminium and carbon-fibre, and gets Ohlins designed pushrod suspension and 380mm brakes.
Arrinera is said to be “in the process” of developing a road-going version of the model, too. So watch this space.
