Automotive journalists, the public, customers and secretly (at home), Porsche engineers, will all agree that the Porsche Boxster is hamstrung by its bigger (and uglier) brother, the Porsche 911. It is a mighty car, however one that will never receive the power plant it needs and more importantly deserves. You can’t slay your big brother now can you?
What if you were to fix that though and throw a bucket full of rampaging horses at it? How about with the help of a heavily turbo’d Porsche 928 stuffed in the back? Remember the 928? That big burly V8 powered Porsche GT car that never really settled well with the buying world. Well the engine, a mighty V8, seemingly responds well to a bit of forced induction.
Sit down, strap up and hold on tight! It’s a wild ride around the circuit used for the even wilder event, Gatebil held in Norway. This much is a promise.

The Porsche Squirlly it should be called… that engine seems heavy dragging the tail out, kind of negating the mid layout… but heck it sounds glorious
