So first up on our list of posts to do after the long and very enjoyable weekend at Yas Marina is the Porsche Middle East GT3 Cup Challenge. When I first heard of the Cup Challenge I was really excited to be able to see these awesome machines up close and personal in the region, and being a complete Porsche nut helped fuel the excitement!

At Yas Marina this weekend it was all about Shaikh Salman bin Rashid Al Khalifa. He let it all hang out controlling the race comfortably notching up his first victory in the Challenge ahead of Saudi’s Prince Abdulaziz Al Faisal, who clawed his way through the field and in doing so extended his Championship lead to 31 points.
