[Not a valid template]We always knew that one day crankandpiston would join the hallowed greats. We just never expected those greats would be Aryton Senna and Jim Clark.
The render you see here is a one-of-a-kind creation by Racing&Emotion, whose signature Art Egg chairs – which bear the racing/rallying colours of the Porsche 917, the Lancia Stratos, the John Player Special Lotus, the BMW M1 and James Hunt among other motorsport legends – get their fair share of social media hits on a day-to-day basis. And now, to commemorate our new re-design, the team based out of Le Mans has created a special crankandpiston.com chair.
Take a quick look through the eight images above and you’ll find the traditional hallmarks that each Racing&Emotion product brings: meticulous attention to detail (check out the tyre tread down the side), character definition, and an epic final design. Each design takes some hours upon hours to put together, so you can probably understand just how grateful we are to the team for this latest creation.
Needless to say, the orthopaedic swivel chairs in the office are already being looked upon with disdain. We want one, badly. And we’re guessing that most of you do too.
