We like a bit of Buzz here at crankandpiston – Not only did he destroy the field last year in the Gulf Radical Cup but to put himself on a level playing field he decided to rest his truly sexy all Carbon SR8 in favour of renting an SR3. Then he took it upon himself to head out to Europe to run an SR3 in the European Masters Radical Championship that runs alongside the Euro Le Mans Series at some of the worlds most hallowed circuits in Europe. Just so you know…Buzz and Christophe (silky skills co-driver) just need two 5th places to have the Euro Championship sewn up!

So, there I was at the Autodrome on Friday to catch some of the on track action and smiled to myself as I saw Buzz slip sliding his SR8 around the track. Getting an SR8 hooked up takes some serious skill…to then leave big sets of 11’s on the exits of corners just for the fun of it takes even more.

I for one can’t wait to see him out there again this season.
