It feels like an age away now as time seems to be whipping past at a silly fast rate. During the cool winter months here in Dubai I had a welcome visit from Mr Luke Ray from Melbourne. One of the must do things sat on our list of activities was to do a coast to coast drive and capture it on film and try to put a vid together.

One of the most exciting parts of the drive is from the Hatta Fort Hotel to the petrol station in the middle of nowhere. Eightish Kms of the some of the most awesome tarmac/concrete in the UAE.

As you come through the mountains and drop into Kalba we decided to run along the waters edge and check out some of the awesome Toyotas that look like they have lived a thousand lives. I managed to grab this shot without really looking or thinking. Artistic fluke me thinks.

The sun setting on our journey. After seven hours and a pretty boring drive back down the Emirates Road we made it home.
