Plenty of people complain that supercars these days are all conceived by machines. And this is, to an extent, somewhat true. But once all the CAD designs are done and the components printed out, the cream of the world’s supercars have to be put together.

Look at this picture of an Aventador under construction at Lamborghini‘s factory in Sant’Agata, Italy. See any robot arms? No you don’t. That’s because Lamborghini has people putting its cars together by hand; stitching seats on sewing machines and knocking pistons into cylinders with a hammer. So don’t let anyone tell you that the personal touch is still lacking on today’s poster cars.
