It all came down to the wire at the GT1 World Championship finale at Donington Park over the weekend. Or the tyre barrier, as it turned out.
Championship protagonists Marcus Winkelhock and Yelmer Buurman collided heavily in the final showdown, causing the race to be curtailed and costing Buurman a trip to A&E.
It was all go then on crankandpiston’s second visit to the GT1 paddock in 2012. Very considerate!
