We’ve been here before – It’s fair to say that the current crop of Audis aren’t really known for fun (hopefully you are still with us). They are cars are that continue to be immaculately planned and executed, paragons of interior build quality and as efficient as anything else out there, but when was there last an Audi that really got your blood pumping from behind the wheel? We have to exclude the R8 and histroical weapons grade cars here sadly as we are talking for the masses, mainstream showroom cars.
Well hopefully, this little cheeky monkey is the car that will change all of that. The A1 was a great little car yet sadly missed something. That little thing the MINI has in spades we might add. However, the boys and girls heading up the RS crazy gang department have clearly been looking longingly at the cutsie A1 sat in the corner of the car park.
As proof they have been looking into the idea, the Club Sport edition they showed the world at Wörthersee had the crowd whetting themselves with excitement… Now they let these images slide through the door! Welcome to the RS1, and judging by what we can see and what we hear through the grapevine, it’s going to be a proper bundle of fun.
