TEASER VIDEO of our upcoming performance SUV group test between the new Range Rover Sport, the Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG, and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
The battlefield is set for a classic showdown between the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
In one corner we have the all-new Range Rover Sport, packing 510bhp of solid power from Land Rover’s 5.0-litre supercharged V8 and sporting more than 40 years of pedigree. In another we have the Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG, little brother to the similarly blinged out GL but no less aggressive thanks to 518bhp from Merc’s 5.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8. Facing both, the potential underdog of the group, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, the 500bhp 4.8-litre V8 turbocharged alter-ego of Porsche’s widely popular nee controversial SUV.
But which of our trio comes out on top? Which of these three contenders has what it takes to contend with the best both on and off-road? We’ll let you know in our feature, coming very soon to crankandpiston.com
