Aldous Mitchell, Jordon Grogor and c&p.com director – Bassam Kronfli -along with the rest of the London Project Team are delighted to report back from a successful debut race at the Le Mans Series 6 hours of Silverstone. The London Project / Storholm car finished second in class. The team were exceptionally close to victory, catching the leader at a vast rate of knots in the last hour, but eventually falling short of first place by less than 20 seconds.
We caught up with the team after the event and other than being ecstatic about the podium, they wanted to take the opportunity to thank their sponsors – Emirates Airlines, CNN, Logsdail London, Meet The Crowd, Automoto.it and Storholm Racing, without whom it would never have happened.
A huge thanks also to the dozens of people who have helped the project out of goodwill during our journey – Genoa Racing, Alan Docking Racing, Christie’s, Anthony Koithra, AUH Motorsport, Stand 21, Graham Mitchell Photography, Henrietta Ludgate, Mostra, Crank and Piston, Awesome Media, Enrico Zanarini and Genevieve Barker – to name just a few.
The team are now packing their bags bound for the Petit Le Mans race in the US with their goal of victory firmly in the sight!
