Roof up or down, the G37 is a handsome beast, with its undulating body lines and ‘wha’ you say t’me?!’ glare about the headlights. Add to that the subtle chrome rear spoiler (it’ll grow on you, trust us) and low, elegant stance, and we’re on to a winner.
And then there’s the performance. A bite of understeer in the corners perhaps, but solid gearbox response plus a throaty 3.7-litre V6 engine – as well as good steering response and bodyroll only when the limit is being pushed – means we’ve had more than a little fun finding the next hooning spot.
Once again though we must say farewell to a member of the crankandpiston team. Maybe our paths will cross again at some stage.
Wink wink, Infiniti.
