Photoshoot complete and foreheads accordingly burnt, the return leg was delayed by an argument concerning car keys: who would drive what back to crankandpiston headquarters?
During this contretemps, alongside name-calling and the stamping of feet, we outlined several valid points. The body shape, for example. It just defines the company’s rich heritage: that low roofline, the sporting contours, and that elegant sloping front end complete with those characteristic headlights.
Then there’s the performance to consider. Rather than scissor-kicking one in the back, the engine’s linear power just keeps pulling, almost urging you to keep the right foot planted and work the paddle shift furiously. Plus the handling can withstand even the toughest of punishment.
Let’s not forget desirability. It’s not what you’d call exclusive but it certainly has presence, drawing the eye of pedestrians and motorists alike as it rolls past.
Safe to say our argument lasted a while. But here’s the thing: given the points outlined above, which car are we fighting over?
