9. Toyota Camry
[Not a valid template]A ubiquitous sight in more than 80 countries around the world, the humble Toyota Camry has shifted some 18 million units since it was first introduced in 1982. It’s another success story for the US market, where the Camry has been the best selling passenger car each year from 1997 to 2015, apart from 2001. It’s also a favourite in the Middle East, Australia and Eastern Europe, although curiously it’s never sold in huge numbers back in Japan, as it’s seen more as a luxury model.
