5. The car we forgot: Chevrolet Silverado Reaper
[Not a valid template]The name alone signifies that the Reaper was going to be an awesome machine on the dunes, as indeed proved the case. Heavily revised bodywork over its Silverado base meant that the potential to scare the living bejesus out of our fellow road users was also there, and that’s always funny. Turns out the automotive Beelzebub though didn’t quite as big an impact on us as another off-road heavy-batshitter, the Mercedes-AMG 4×4 [Squared]. Essentially a G 63 AMG 6×6 with one less axle (plus an occasional day-glow yellow paint finish), the behemoth’s drive on Europe’s winding road proved both terrifying and hilarious.
