But with the new 488 GTB came an intriguing asterisk, namely THAT twin-turbo V8, the first such powerplant from Maranello since the legendary F40. Was the character of the naturally aspirated Ferraris of old gone, the 488 GTB caught red-handed with a twin-turbo smoking gun in its grasp?
To find out, we took a rather expensive trip down memory lane when we invited Aziz and his pristine ’87 328 GTS to see just how the character of the prancing horse had changed over the course of three decades.
