This year marks 50 years since McLaren first entered Formula 1. To celebrate, we’ve picked our Top 10 McLaren Formula 1 cars, using the criteria of what won a lot, which were historically significant and which ones we just like a lot. 1. M2B (1966)
This was where it all began. The M2B was the first ever McLaren to race in Formula 1; the starting point for 182 race wins, 12 driver’s championships and eight constructors’ titles at the time of writing. We’ll gloss over the fact that the M2B wasn’t very good. Everyone has to start somewhere.
