Chevrolet has revealed that you can pick up the 2017 Corvette Grand Sport for just shy of $70k.
Chevrolet has announced that its new 2017 track-bred Corvette Grand Sport is set to be priced from $66,445, when it goes on sale later this year.
The new Corvette Grand Sport features design cues from its heritage models combined with a track-focused chassis and suspension set up. This set-up presents a 1.05g cornering capability (Chevrolet-estimated), with up to 1.2g available with the added Z07 package, which includes Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres.
The model is mated to a seven-speed manual gearbox with Active Rev Match and is said to sprint from 0-100kph in 3.6seconds. Full Brembo braking system is also featured. Z07 package adds carbon ceramic-matrix brake rotors.
A Heritage package is available which adds hash-mark fender graphics in six colours, with the hash mark detail carried onto the interior’s brushed aluminium trim, wheel options and stripe details.
A Grand Sport collector edition will be offered later in the model year, featuring Watkins Glen Gray metallic exterior with Tension Blue hash-mark graphics, satin black full-length stripes, black wheels and a unique Tension Blue full leather and suede-wrapped interior.
