The GT100 weekend was a strange affair…It was strangely quiet down at the Autodrome, especially a one that was penned as one of the biggest events of the year for the big GT cars.The very sad passing of a rather important member of the UAE family may have hampered it somewhat…I know that Vanilla Ice was certainly affected by this passing…it was however still very strange to be hanging around a very quite Autodrome! Especially one that has been seeing a gradual and strong growth all season long.The racing though…man the racing! It was awesome…New cars, great racing and lots of passing! What more does a petrol head and motorsport nut expect…let alone desire.

The race between Khalid and Frederic Gaillard was epic and seemed to last the whole race. Over taking manovoure after overtaking manovoure…the best bit is that they raced like absolute gentlemen.

Andrew Donaldson and the Cytec Porsche 997 GT3 Cup S seemed to be struggling from copius amounts of turn in oversteer all weekend. Andrew managed to keep it all together though and finished on the podium. Another great result for the Muehlner squad.
