How a boxer engine is born.
The Porsche 911 is one of the most iconic sports cars in the world. And powering it is one of the most legendary engines – a flat six ‘boxer’ unit. How are such units made? Funny you should ask – the process is shown in this video, shot inside the Porsche factory as the various components come together before being installed in the cars.
How hard can it be? All you need are some very studious engineers, a couple of robots, a massive Porsche production line in Zuffenhausen, Germany, and NO TALKING.
