Subaru has secured the Guinness World Record for the tightest 360degree spin.
Subaru has gone and taken the Guinness World Record for the tightest 360degree spin, at the Autosport International Show last weekend.
With former world record holder Alastair Moffat at the wheel of a Subaru BRZ, the previous world record of 2.5-metre was broken.
In preparation of the manoeuvre, Alastair switched off both traction control and ABS of the rear-wheel drive model to give him the best control to do the spin. He broke the previous record from 2014 by flicking the BRZ into a 360degree spin between two obstacles in the Live Action Arena of the Autosport International show, held at the NEC, Birmingham.
Alastair is no stranger to challenges such as this one, though. He has previous experience setting daring Guinness World Records, including ‘Tightest Reverse Parallel Park’ and ‘Tightest Parallel Park’.
