Volvo has added new Polestar bits to its model line-up.

Parts such as wheels, exhaust, interior and exterior elements (including the chassis) will initially be made available for the Volvo S60, V40, V60 and XC60, with further models to follow. The Performance package has been developed alongside Polestar’s motorsport partner, Cyan Racing, with whom the company competes in the World Touring Car Championship and V8 Supercars under the Gary Rogers Motorsport banner.
Polestar Chief operations officer Niels Möller said: “We have received strong feedback over a long period of time from customers all over the world regarding Polestar Performance Parts. We are delighted to now be able to meet that demand.”
Polestar’s R+D boss Henrik Fries said: “What we learned on the racing circuits with our colleagues at Cyan Racing is that championships are not won in a single lap. The secret to our success on track is creating balanced and precise cars that are predictable for the driver to control in all situations. Lessons learned on track are transferred directly into the development of our road cars and performance products. The new range of Polestar performance parts is no exception – they are designed and developed with the very same philosophy.”
All Polestar performance parts will be available to purchase from participating Volvo dealerships from April, with pricing details being announced closer to the time.
